TURKISH GP 2009

The Turkish GP is here again this weekend. Both Friday practices were over today with some improvement from the big name teams of McLaren, Ferrari and BMW. The surprise were the Brawns were off the pace and Vettel had some soft of mechanical failure on his car.

I am pleasantly surprised that McLaren have made by the current standards a huge improvement compared to Monaco 2 weeks earlier. I was thinking that they would be having a problematic time at the low-medium downforce and fast flowing Istanbul track but so far they showed not only do they have pace but the grip is also there. The notorious and incredible turn 8 did not really throw them around.
