The 530WHP Monster Mitsubishi Evolution 7 by Simon

Mitsubishi Evolution 7 that's been modified up to 536WHP Monster.

Well....you don't get cheated by the outlook, actually it was Evolution 7 convert to Evolution 8 body kit.

Modified by local workshop in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Fully rebuilt engine with Tomei aftermarket parts together with 4G64 stroker
Well the stories behind ~






Previously this car was running in Stock Engine , the owner was satisfied with the performance of the stock standard engine just with some aftermarket parts and boost up to 1.5Bar ....

But........ until 1 day the engine blown , root cause - was using the wrong type of engine oil . I don't want to mention whats the brand of the engine oil but its totally fuXX up , as just barely few hours he changed the engine oil ......the engine blown after the owner was driving at the freeway in Malaysia . End up with the new plan to rebuilt the engine ....

We bring in the Tomei parts all the way from Japan .





















Tomei 86MM Forged Piston and Tomei Forged Conrod fitted in with 4G64 Crankshaft as part of the stroker kit with ACL Racing Bearing. With this , We upgrade the Turbine to Garrett GT35 AR70 with 0.86mm Rear housing The exhaust manifold was custom made from Thailand to fitted in with this turbine together Tial 44MM with 1 bar spring wastegate and using with HKS Racing Type 2 Blow off valve





















Also not forgotten the engine head, Port polish with 45 degree triangular style , with Oversize Valve and Valve Guide ,

Brian Crower 288" cam fitted in with Brian Crower Titanium retainer

Greddy Trust Oil cooler for the engine oil cooling system and the original Skyline GTR intercooler was used.

The fuel line was upgraded to the bigger size to 10mm .
We also not missed out the Fuel Regulator from SARD - Type RJ.

Dont be suprised, we just using the Mitsubishi Airtrek head cover as the original head cover was damage.

For the fuel system , Sard 1000cc injector was fitted in with Sard 265LPH in tank fuel pump and SARD external fuel surge tank with 2 Bosch 044 fuel pump .

The intercooler piping system was custom made by the specialist and the for the exhaust system, stainless steel 3.5" Piping was used together with HKS Hi Power muffler.

For the electronic system , Apex'i Power FC D'Jetro was used for the as engine control unit system and HKS Twin Power for the ignition system , The owner also fitted the Innovate Motorsports Wideband for easy air fuel reading and easy tuning.

For better power and cooling , AEM Water/Methanol spray system also fitted in. After the engine running in for 2 months , We took the car for tuning and dyno session.

And the proud the tuner was the owner himself.





















Weather in Malaysia quite hot and humid.. AFR was set to 11.5 ratio.

Owner tried to push it up to 500whp, Ignition timing was set to almost perfect and the Air Fuel itself was tuned to the best

After a few run , we got 476 wheel horse power, the owner still not satisfied with the power itself
At last 536 wheel horse power was the best result with boost at 1.92bar at 8500rpm ......
that was fun but scary!!!


Owner was satisfied with the performance , the Exhaust manifold was glowing red color as it's damn hot ......
